MEET YOUR DOCTOR
Meet your doctor.
Jordan D. Salmon, MD is a board-certified family physician with nearly a decade of clinical experience, including active duty service in the United States Air Force at RAF Lakenheath and Luke Air Force Base. He completed medical school at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso and his family medicine residency at Nellis Air Force Base.
Dr. Salmon founded Health Rising Direct Primary Care in Houston in 2023 before joining The Family Doctor in 2026 to expand and modernize the practice. He brings particular expertise in medical acupuncture and obesity medicine, and he is fluent in Spanish.
His approach is grounded in direct communication, long-term patient relationships, and care that is genuinely built around the person in front of him.
